For the past two months we have teased you with the theory and value of small groups.  REAL Connections is the redeployment of this ministry.  January 24th is our launch date for a 6 week block of meetings. I ask that you give this ministry a try and the six week commitment should be less challenging to your busy schedule.  In January you will have an opportunity to select one of three initial groups to attend by entering your name on a sign up sheet. You may choose or decline to attend future blocks or change groups if you like.  Our hope is that you will find REAL connections to be valuable to your own spiritual life, your connection to other Christians, and as a comfortable opportunity to invite your friends and family.

We have designed these meetings in homes to be flexible but with a definite start and stop time.  We are suggesting the meetings be on Sunday night. A typical meeting might look like this:

15 min. Introduction of guests, icebreakers, get acquainted time
30 min. Bible lesson, discussion, and application questions
15 min. Prayer for needs of group
10 min. Outreach—discussion of evangelism prospects
5 min. Prayer for the harvest (that prospects will accept invitations to visit the group)
30 min. Fellowship

Some groups will choose to have refreshments and modify the suggested activities. They will also determine the child care plan.
